AFP to deploy assets for vaccine rollout

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is ready to assist the DOH in the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines using its strategically deployed assets.

Only 25% of AFP personnel will be vaccinated initially to prioritize medical front-liners, senior citizens, and those with co-morbidities.

Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana stated that only around 20,000 to 30,000 members directly involved in the fight against COVID-19 will be prioritized for vaccination.
