IATF to study reimposing NCR Plus bubble due to Delta variant

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) will discuss a proposal to reimpose the bubble policy in NCR Plus due to the threat of the Delta variant.

OCTA Research urged the government on Monday to reimpose the bubble policy over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, or NCR Plus, as well as restrictions on children.

Dr. Guido David from OCTA said a bubble policy would allow economic activity in Metro Manila to continue unhampered and eliminate the need for a tighter lockdown classification.
