DOH: PUIs for nCoV rise to 314

As of Monday, February 10, the number of persons under investigation (PUIs) for possible 2019 novel coronavirus (nCoV) infection has risen to 314 in the Philippines.

Of these PUIs, 183 are Filipinos and 99 are Chinese nationals, with the rest from other nationalities.

Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo reported that 109 have tested negative for nCoV, while 202 tests remain pending at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine; three cases have confirmed positive.

Metro Manila has the highest number of PUIs at 105.

On Friday, February 7, the DOH had reported 215 PUIs, with 184 admitted and isolated, nine refusing admission, 17 discharged under monitoring, and two deaths from other causes unrelated to nCoV.
