DFA: 30 new COVID-19 cases, 26 recoveries among Pinoys abroad

As of Wednesday, April 22, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported 30 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad, bringing the total to 1,114.

The number of recoveries increased by 26, while six new deaths were recorded, raising the death toll to 159.

Currently, 660 Filipinos are receiving treatment, with 295 having recovered and been discharged.

Cases are spread across 42 countries, primarily in Europe (374 cases), Asia Pacific (299 cases), Middle East/Africa (162 cases), and the Americas (279 cases).

The DFA continues to monitor and provide support for Filipinos affected by the pandemic abroad.
