Karding causes power outages in Nueva Ecija, Aurora

As Typhoon Karding (Noru) hit the Philippines on Monday, Sept 26, power outages occurred in Nueva Ecija and Aurora due to damaged transmission lines.

Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla reported during a briefing with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. that both provinces are without electricity because main NGCP lines were down.

Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, and Quezon also experienced partial power disruptions.

Electric cooperatives in affected areas are assessing damages to restore power as soon as possible.
