Munzon's clutch plays lead NorthPort past Magnolia 107-103

Joshua Munzon's clutch four-pointer helped NorthPort secure a 107-103 victory over Magnolia, extending their perfect start in the PBA Commissioner's Cup to 3-0 on Wednesday.

Munzon finished with 25 points, nine rebounds, five steals, and key plays down the stretch, including a crucial four-point play that put NorthPort ahead by five with 49 seconds left.

NorthPort forced nine turnovers in the final quarter and secured defensive stops when it mattered most, overcoming a fourth-quarter rally from Magnolia.

Magnolia's rookie Jerom Lastimosa nearly led his team back with 27 points, eight rebounds, and two steals but couldn't prevent NorthPort’s win.

Calvin Abueva returned to action for Magnolia after missing Sunday's game due to a neck injury, though teammate Paul Lee did not play.

Munzon emphasized the importance of being aggressive on offense, noting that he took advantage of opportunities given by Magnolia and finished with five steals.
