P2M, P1.7M, P1.7M, PHP27.2M shabu seizures in Zamboanga, Jolo, Maguindanao, Negros

Non-uniformed policemen seized P2 million worth of shabu from a male dealer in Barangay Baliwasan, Zamboanga City on Wednesday, April 2.

On Saturday night, April 5, plainclothes policemen also confiscated P1.7 million worth of shabu from two peddlers in Barangay San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu during an entrapment operation near the Senator Santanina Rasul Sports Complex.

In Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, police seized P1.7 million worth of shabu from Mel Anok Ibrahim and his 20-year-old companion Bhads Salim Abdillah on Sunday afternoon, April 6, during a sting operation led by Lt. Col. Esmael Madin.

In Sibulan, Negros Oriental, anti-illegal drug operatives seized PHP27.2 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested Elgin Caday Rodriguez, 50, around 6 a.m. on Wednesday during a buy-bust operation led by Lt. Stephen Polinar from the NOPPO.

Rodriguez was found in possession of roughly four kilograms of suspected shabu.

The ongoing investigation aims to determine the origin and source of the seized drugs.
