40 Davao derby attendees from Kidapawan quarantined

A total of 40 individuals from Kidapawan who attended the controversial Matina Gallera cockfighting derby in Davao City have been identified and quarantined.

Sixteen are under home quarantine, six are in isolation facilities, and eighteen have completed their 14-day quarantine period.

Two confirmed cases and three probable patients with negative results were among the attendees.

The NoCot task force has set up a hotline to track derby attendees and encourage them to seek medical help.

Despite appeals from officials, many attendees refuse to show up for medication claiming they have no symptoms.
