San Juan City Police conduct lockdown dry run

San Juan City Police conducted a dry run of a lockdown scenario on Thursday amid the threat of COVID-19.

Around 90 to 150 officers monitored city boundaries from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with another dry run scheduled for later that day.

Police Chief Jaime Santos emphasized it was a proactive measure, noting no restrictions had been implemented by the National Capital Region Police Office yet.

Additionally, San Juan policemen have started disinfecting their hands and wearing face masks before patrols, while a police station in the city strictly enforces 'no mask, no entry' policy.
