PNP: No double standard in ECQ implementation

The Joint Task Force against COVID-19 commander, Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar, stated on Monday that there is no double standard in enforcing the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) guidelines across Luzon.

Eleazar responded to recent incidents where policemen were recorded threatening residents of a condominium complex in Taguig for alleged violations.

He emphasized that all individuals must adhere to ECQ rules without exception, regardless of social status.
