NLEX Marilao northbound reopens early, waiving tolls until Sunday

Motorists can expect improved traffic conditions on North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) this Sunday, March 23, with all four lanes of Marilao northbound fully reopening early Wednesday morning ahead of schedule.

Starting at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, all lanes are now passable to vehicles and toll fees remain waived, leading to smoother traffic flow.

NLEX Corporation accelerated repairs with teams working around the clock to ensure safety and improve travel times, finishing a week ahead of the initial March 31 deadline.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) thanked NLEX for reopening the affected expressway segment early, allowing close to normal travel times for commuters and motorists on NLEX.

Traffic has started to normalize since Wednesday morning with vehicles moving fast along all open lanes.
