Nine die of COVID-19 in Pampanga in six days

Nine people in Pampanga died from COVID-19 complications between September 4 and 10.

San Fernando had the most fatalities with three deaths, followed by Arayat and Lubao with two each; Mabalacat City and Floridablanca also reported one death each.

The active cases in San Fernando dropped to 40 on September 9 from 71 a week earlier, while Mabalacat City had seven active cases.

San Fernando has recorded a total of 15,554 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began, with 351 deaths and 15,153 recoveries; Mabalacat City has reported 9,223 cases in total, including 243 deaths and 8,973 recoveries.
