PDEA arrests 7 in drug ops in Bangsamoro and Central Mindanao

Anti-narcotics agents in the Bangsamoro region and Central Mindanao arrested seven individuals involved in drug trafficking over three days.

On February 25, PDEA-BARMM agents, along with police personnel from Tawi-Tawi, conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of a woman running a drug den and her two accomplices in Barangay Tubig Boh, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The trio was detained after selling PHP 40,800 worth of shabu during the entrapment, with local officials and community watchmen shutting down their drug den immediately thereafter.

On February 26, PDEA-12 agents arrested a city government employee from Koronadal City's slaughterhouse who was involved in drug peddling activities.

The suspect was apprehended after confidential informants tipped off the authorities, leading to the seizure of PHP 56,000 worth of shabu from him in Sitio San Isidro, Barangay San Jose, Koronadal City.

On Saturday, March 1, PDEA-BARMM agents arrested a drug den owner and his four accomplices in an entrapment operation in Barangay Poblacion Mother, Cotabato City.

The suspects were arrested after one of them sold PHP 102,000 worth of shabu to non-uniformed anti-narcotics agents during the sting operation at their drug den.
