Chery Tiggo ends Creamline's 19-game winning streak

Creamline suffered its first loss of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference, falling to Chery Tiggo with a 25-18, 26-24, 25-23 match on Saturday at Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna.

The defeat ended Creamline's 19-game winning streak that extended back to the previous All-Filipino Conference and marked Chery Tiggo's third win in five games this season.

Libero Jen Nierva of Chery Tiggo put together a defensive masterclass, tallying 20 digs and excellent receptions, earning her the Press Corps Player of the Week honors.

Chery Tiggo captain Aby Maraño spent time with fans after the game, acknowledging their support despite having to wait for hours until another match.

Maraño expressed gratitude towards the Laguna fans who cheered for her team and took selfies with them, emphasizing the importance of fan appreciation.
