Carina floods Metro Manila, state of calamity declared

Super Typhoon Carina has caused severe flooding in Metro Manila, leading to a state of calamity being declared.

Various organizations such as Community Pantry PH, Bahaghari, GMA Kapuso Foundation, Plushies For Hope, AGHAM, Tanging Yaman Foundation, Kadamay, and Philippine Red Cross are accepting donations and volunteers for relief efforts.

ABS-CBN Foundation, Caritas Manila, Miriam College, and Angat Buhay in partnership with the Tanging Yaman Foundation have also launched donation drives to aid victims of the flooding.

Malacañang has suspended work in government offices and classes in all levels in at least three regions due to Typhoon Carina.
