Israeli experts advise PH on Delta variant response

Israeli health experts are visiting the Philippines to advise on the country's response to the Delta variant.

The first delegation of Israeli experts visited the Philippines last month, helping improve the vaccination program.

A second group of four medical specialists arrived on Monday and will visit hospitals from July 27-31 to share best practices in treating COVID-19 patients.

Israel has provided protective equipment for front-liners and learning materials for schools during the pandemic, deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The DOH is excited to learn from Israeli delegates about their experiences battling the virus, including recent measures like mask mandates and third vaccine doses.
