NegOcc leads Region 6 in vax drive

Negros Occidental has administered the most coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines in Western Visayas during the first two days of the National Vaccination Days set from November 29 to December 1.

The province's Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II expressed hope that they can maintain their high vaccination rate and continue the campaign until reaching the 70 percent target population in Negros Occidental.

Negros Oriental recorded almost 50,000 individuals vaccinated during the first two days of the nationwide drive, although slightly short of its total target.

On November 29, Negros Oriental exceeded their daily target with 26,647 vaccinees, but fell short on the second day with 22,620.
