NegOcc aims to boost elderly vaccination, set to receive more Pfizer doses

The Negros Occidental provincial government aims to boost vaccination coverage among elderly individuals aged 60 and above.

Representatives from the World Health Organization visited the province last week, emphasizing the need to prioritize vaccinations for seniors.

Negros Occidental will receive an additional 25,000 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines for children aged 5 to 11 this week, as confirmed by Presidential Adviser Vivencio Dizon.

As of Monday, approximately 18,337 Negrense children aged 5 to 11 have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
