QC reaches 70% first dose vax target, nears full vax goal

As of Thursday, September 2, Quezon City has administered over two million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, reaching 70 percent of its target population for the first dose and nearly half fully vaccinated.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte credited health workers, staff, and volunteers for the success of the city’s vaccination program.

By Tuesday, August 31, nearly half of Quezon City's 1.7 million target population had been fully vaccinated with 49.63 percent reaching full vaccination status including those who received the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
