NCRPO arrests four drug suspects, seizes PHP16.3M shabu

Operatives of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested four drug suspects, seizing PHP16.3 million worth of shabu in separate sting operations across Manila and Taguig City.

Reyes and Gonzales, aged 42 and 38 respectively, were apprehended inside a budget hotel in Sampaloc district early Tuesday morning with 2.2 kg of shabu.

In a separate operation on Wednesday evening, Elizabeth Villanueva, 26, and Clarita Corpuz, 58, were arrested along Mariano St. in Taguig City with approximately 400 grams of shabu worth PHP2.7 million.

All suspects will face charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, for their involvement in drug trafficking activities.
