PDEA-12 arrests drug dealer, 11 users in General Santos; separate arrest in Koronadal

On Friday afternoon, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-12 (PDEA-12) agents conducted an entrapment operation in General Santos City, arresting a drug den owner and eleven others.

During the operation, Jhong Rey Guiang Portugal was caught selling P81,600 worth of shabu to undercover agents and found 11 individuals inside his drug den sniffing crystal meth.

Director Aileen Tan Lovitos of PDEA-12 informed reporters on Sunday that all arrested individuals will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PDEA-12 also confiscated shabu and drug paraphernalia from the scene.

Two hours later, in Koronadal City, PDEA-12 agents arrested Jirwin Pacardo Rendon during a P374,340 shabu transaction based on reports of his activities from co-workers and neighbors.
