NCR COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 5.6%

The positivity rate for COVID-19 in Metro Manila dropped from 6.6% on June 21 to 5.6% as of June 28.

OCTA Research Fellow Dr. Guido David noted that while the positivity rate is still decreasing, the rate of decline has slowed down.

Nationally, the positivity rate decreased to 7.4% as of June 29 from 8.9% a week earlier.

The DOH reported 503 new cases and no deaths on June 29, with 7,896 active cases in total.
