NPC urges inclusive mass COVID-19 testing

The Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) urged the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Department of Health to implement a more inclusive mass testing program for COVID-19.

The NPC cited the steady rise in confirmed and suspected cases as a serious concern, noting that symptomatic individuals have died without being tested.

Resolution No. 1 calls for expedited PCR-based and rapid antibody tests, unimpeded implementation of guidelines for setting up testing laboratories, and training medical technologists.
