N. Vizcaya Solano seeks MECQ as Bayombong suspends ops

Nueva Vizcaya's Solano town requests MECQ status due to a spike in COVID-19 cases to 40 over the last two weeks.

The provincial IATF endorses Solano's request and forwards it to the regional IATF office.

Bayombong suspends operations at its town hall and health offices after recording another fatality, bringing the province's total deaths to four with 52 active cases.

Despite rising cases, Governor Carlos Padilla says Nueva Vizcaya will not be placed under MECQ status immediately pending consultations with local mayors.
