BARMM logs 5 new Covid-19 cases; recovery rate at 72 percent

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) reported five new COVID-19 cases on Monday, August 31, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 652.

Four of these new cases were from Lanao del Sur and one was from Sulu.

Additionally, ten recoveries were recorded, raising the total number of recoveries to 469 with a recovery rate of 72 percent.

In Maguindanao, no new cases were reported but 34 police officers who tested positive are nearing the end of their quarantine period at Camp SK Pendatun in Parang.
