Typhoon Ulysses strands 513 Luzon-bound passengers in N. Samar

As of Wednesday, at least 513 passengers bound for Luzon were stranded in Northern Samar due to Typhoon Ulysses.

The Philippine Coast Guard had imposed a travel ban on Tuesday morning which remains until weather conditions improve.

In addition to the stranded passengers, 133 trucks and 58 light vehicles are also stuck in different ports of Northern Samar.

PAGASA raised Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 over Northern Samar and other parts of Samar Island, advising locals to prepare for potential impacts.
