NBI subpoenas GMA contractors in Sandro Muhlach case

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has issued a subpoena against two independent contractors of GMA Network in response to a complaint filed by Sandro Muhlach.

Sandro Muhlach, 23, the son of former child celebrity Niño Muhlach, submitted additional documents to the NBI on Tuesday regarding his criminal complaint.

NBI Director Jaime Santiago confirmed that they are seeking statements from Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, along with CCTV footage from a hotel involved in the case.

GMA Network has placed the two contractors under preventive suspension and formed an independent body for impartial investigation.

The Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media is also looking into the case, planning to call GMA representatives for a hearing scheduled for August 9.
