Shabazz Muhammad scores winning layup in Magnolia's narrow PBA win

In his PBA debut for the Magnolia Hotshots, Shabazz Muhammad scored a game-winning layup with 8.1 seconds left to secure a narrow victory over TerraFirma by a score of 99-98 on Thursday night.

Muhammad contributed 20 points in this crucial match after missing his previous game against Meralco due to lack of Fiba clearance, while Paul Lee scored nine points for Magnolia.

The game was closely contested with Magnolia trailing by two points (95-93) before taking the lead at 97-95 and ultimately sealing it with Muhammad's decisive shot.

Magnolia players Zavier Lucero and Calvin Abueva also made significant contributions, scoring 17 and 15 points respectively. Despite his strong performance, Antonio Hester of TerraFirma could not secure a win for his team, finishing the game with 39 points and 16 rebounds but dropping to an undefeated record in the conference.
