Montenegro advances to FIBA World Cup second round

Montenegro advanced to the second round of the FIBA World Cup after defeating Egypt 89-74 on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Nikola Vucevic led Montenegro with 16 points, seven rebounds, two steals and three blocks in their Group D match against Egypt.

In their previous game on Friday, Montenegro secured a strong start by beating Mexico 91-71, with Vucevic scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
