FIBA World Cup: 16 teams advance to second round

A total of 16 teams have advanced to the second round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The teams are divided into four groups (I, J, K, L) and will compete in Manila, Jakarta, and Okinawa.

In Manila, Smart Araneta Coliseum and Mall of Asia Arena will host eight teams.

Teams carry their first-round records into the second round where they play two games against teams from opposite groups.

The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals.
