Millions affected by PhilHealth data breach

Millions of PhilHealth users were affected by a data breach, according to DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy.

Uy stated that while 90% of the analysis is complete, duplicate cases may reduce the final number of affected individuals.

The hackers, who did not receive ransom from the government, might sell the leaked information to scammers and phishers for monetary gain.
