Metro Manila implements 'no vax, no ride' on public transport starting Jan 17

Starting January 17, only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed on Metro Manila's public transport.

Passengers must show proof of vaccination and a valid government ID before boarding.

The DOTr will deploy mystery passengers and traffic enforcers to ensure compliance with the 'no vax, no ride' policy.

MRT-3 operator also announced that exemptions include those with medical conditions preventing vaccination and essential goods shoppers who provide necessary documentation.
