Metro Manila cases could fall to 500 by mid-November

Coronavirus cases in Metro Manila are expected to fall to around 500 daily cases by mid-November, according to researchers from the University of the Philippines.

The National Capital Region is currently under Alert Level 3 and may be lowered to Alert Level 2 before the holiday season if case trends continue to decline.

Cases have dropped by 48% in the past two weeks, prompting discussions about easing lockdown measures.
