Meralco suspends disconnections in granular lockdown areas

Meralco will not disconnect electricity for customers in areas under granular lockdowns in Metro Manila after the modified enhanced community quarantine period ends on September 15.

The power company said it would continue to suspend disconnection activities until the end of September in MECQ and granular lockdown areas.

This decision follows the government's announcement placing certain NCR areas under granular lockdown during GCQ.
