Meralco closes service centers for Undas, stays alert for typhoons

Manila Electric Company (Meralco) will close its service centers from November 1 to 2 in observance of 'Undas', maintaining full alertness and providing a 24/7 response to any electricity-related concerns.

Joe Zaldarriaga, Meralco's vice president for corporate communications, stated that the company is committed to supporting national observances of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day while ensuring customer needs are met.

Meralco crews and personnel will remain on standby to address customer issues and ensure service continuity throughout the holiday break.

The power distributor reminded the public to practice electrical safety measures as many are expected to visit cemeteries during this period.

Meanwhile, Meralco continues to monitor Super Typhoon Kong-rey (Local name: Leon) following the recent impact of Severe Tropical Storm Trami (Local name: Kristine).
