123 in Cebu City Jail test positive for coronavirus

As of Wednesday, April 22, 123 individuals from Cebu City Jail have tested positive for coronavirus, including 114 inmates and 13 personnel.

This brings the total number of positive cases in the jail to 127 after four inmates previously tested positive.

The mass testing was initiated following the death of an inmate who later tested positive for COVID-19, prompting health officials to test individuals who had contact with him.
