Barretto addresses Padilla’s wedding disappointment

Actress Marjorie Barretto addressed her former husband, actor Dennis Padilla’s disappointment after he was unable to walk their daughter Claudia down the aisle at her wedding on April 8.

In an exclusive interview with Ogie Diaz, Marjorie defended herself against allegations that she snubbed Dennis's mother and shared a photo of them laughing together during the event.

Marjorie stated that Dennis had been emotionally and physically abusive during their marriage, damaging her eardrum when Julia was an infant, and criticized him for sharing posts about Claudia’s wedding before the couple could do so themselves.

She emphasized that she raised Claudia and her siblings single-handedly after they became estranged 10 years ago, urging Dennis to be a better father figure and provide support for their children.

Marjorie promised her children that she would always be there for them, stating, 'I will be your safe space until I die.'
