Barretto denies ex-husband's claims, defends daughter's wedding wishes

Marjorie Barretto addressed claims made by her ex-husband Dennis Padilla regarding their daughter Claudia's recent wedding.

Barretto clarified that Claudia wanted the wedding private and agreed to invite Dennis under specific conditions, including not walking her down the aisle. During a March 18 dinner with her children and Dennis, Claudia set boundaries for his behavior at the wedding.

Marjorie denied Dennis' claims of being ignored or seated improperly at the ceremony, presenting evidence showing he was warmly greeted by family members during the event.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Marjorie also alleged that Dennis physically abused her before they separated 18 years ago and criticized his tendency to discuss family issues in interviews.

She stated that Claudia made two requests of Dennis: to keep wedding details private and walk down the aisle alone. Had Dennis not agreed, he might not have been invited at all due to Claudia's well-being.

Despite her ex-husband’s public statements, Marjorie emphasized she never stopped Dennis from seeing their children and highlighted years of therapy for her kids triggered by their father.
