Dennis Padillas cuts ties with children over wedding snub

Comedian Dennis Padillas expressed deep disappointment after attending his daughter Claudia Barretto's wedding as a guest rather than the father of the bride. During an interview with Ogie Diaz, he revealed that Claudia initially informed him via phone call about canceling the event but then changed her mind an hour later, sending details through Viber instead of a formal invitation.

Padilla felt hurt by being excluded from walking his daughter down the aisle and having no role in the ceremony despite attending. He shared that when he approached the wedding coordinator to inquire why he was not acknowledged as Claudia's father, he was directed to simply follow the program.

He expressed regret over his children’s lack of acknowledgment on social media and decided to delete posts featuring them, indicating their relationship is effectively over. Padilla also stated he will no longer give his children any chance to see or talk to him, declaring it a 'permanent goodbye'.

The comedian acknowledged that this painful experience was one of the most difficult moments in his life and expressed hopelessness about rebuilding the relationships with Claudia, Julia, and Leon.
