Marcos skips Romblon event, proceeds with aid distribution in Palawan

Heavy rains in Romblon affected President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.'s schedule on Thursday, forcing him to skip an assistance distribution event there.

Governor Jose Riano confirmed that due to weather conditions, Marcos would not proceed with the event in Odiongan but similar programs were held instead.

Marcos proceeded to Palawan where he distributed aid and turned over a rice processing system is expected to visit Ilocos Norte later Thursday for another assistance program.

The president has been traveling across the country to support farmers, fisherfolks, and their families despite disruptions in his schedule.

Despite the disruption in Romblon, Marcos continues his efforts to assist communities nationwide.
