Marcos Jr. most trusted, approved despite dip

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. remains the most trusted and approved top government official in the country despite a slight drop in his latest ratings according to OCTA's 'Tugon ng Masa' survey conducted from April 2 to 5.

The survey found that 60 percent of adult Filipinos trust President Marcos, marking a five-point decline since November 2024, while satisfaction with his performance dropped four points to 59 percent.

Despite these declines, Marcos still maintains the highest trust and approval ratings among top officials, with Vice President Sara Duterte seeing an increase in her trust rating to 58 percent from 49 percent.

Senate President Francis Escudero and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez also retained majority support but saw slight drops in satisfaction compared to November 2024.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo received the lowest marks among top officials, with only 5 percent of respondents expressing trust and approval.
