Palace: President unconcerned about 'It's Showtime' contestant's lack of Comelec knowledge

Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro stated that President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. is not concerned about an 'It's Showtime' contestant who admitted to being unaware of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Castro emphasized that individual ignorance does not reflect government shortcomings in improving education quality, adding that individuals can self-improve through internet resources and other search engines.

The President remains unconcerned because the administration is taking steps to elevate educational standards, according to Castro.

On Tuesday, 'It's Showtime' hosts allayed concern over a contestant who failed to give a message to Comelec during the question and answer portion, with the host finding her response unfamiliarity 'bothersome.'

Contestant Heart Aquino visited Comelec's headquarters on Tuesday for a tour given by officials.
