'Sumbong sa Pangulo' website gets over 1,100 reports in three days

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s 'Sumbong sa Pangulo' website has received over 1,000 reports in just three days since its launch on August 11.

From August 11 to 13, the platform recorded 1,148 reports and 823 feedbacks with a total of 84,892 views, as part of Marcos's investigation into anomalous flood control projects following widespread flooding in various areas.

Since July 2022, over P350 billion has been spent on 6,021 flood control projects without basic details specifying infrastructure types, according to preliminary findings indicating misalignment between project distribution and flood vulnerability.

As of August 12, the website listed 9,855 completed projects amounting to P545.6 billion, with financing primarily from 2022 to 2024 but some dating back to 2018.

More than 3,700 projects were initiated before Marcos took office in 2022, and the government has yet to disclose how it plans to complete the review of nearly 10,000 projects.
