Marcos-backed senators secure apparent victories

Six senatorial candidates backed by the Marcos administration have secured apparent victories in the election, signaling public support for the government's vision of progress.

Navotas Representative Toby Tiangco, campaign manager for Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, has claimed victory despite the slate failing to win a majority of Senate slots, affirming their commitment to continue economic growth and address key issues.

Tiangco emphasized that the aim was to rally support behind candidates who could contribute their expertise to the Senate, with partial results showing five of eleven endorsed candidates securing spots among the top twelve.

The senatorial candidates seek to assist the administration in improving Filipinos' welfare and sustaining efforts for progress, while two slots went to candidates allied with former Vice President Leni Robredo.

Erwin Tulfo leads at fourth place, according to partial results from Comelec.
