Marcos: Agreement, not partnership, for PH fishermen in South China Sea

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. clarified on Monday that the Philippines is pursuing an agreement rather than a partnership with China to allow Filipino fishermen to fish in the South China Sea.

Marcos stated during a briefing that China will not stop Filipino fishermen from fishing in waters they have used for generations, describing it as a simple agreement rather than a complex partnership.
