Isko Moreno leads Manila mayoral race, Honey Lacuna concedes

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna conceded defeat on Tuesday in the 2025 mayoral race as she trailed behind Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso based on partial and unofficial results.

Unofficial tallies from the Commission on Elections showed Isko Moreno leading with 527,000 votes compared to Lacuna's 190,087 votes as of Tuesday evening.

In a video message posted online, Lacuna thanked residents for giving her the opportunity to serve as Manila's first female mayor and expressed gratitude to those who supported her campaign.

Isko Moreno remains on top in the tally but has yet to be officially proclaimed the winner due to pending manual transmissions of votes.
