Manila launches drive-thru booster shot site in Luneta

Manila will launch a drive-through vaccination site specifically for booster shots against coronavirus at Quirino Grandstand in Luneta starting Thursday.

The site, open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, can accommodate around 1,500 individuals per day and is available to both Manila residents and non-residents.

Manila has also set up a drive-through vaccination site for two-wheel riders at Kartilya ng Katipunan in Lawton, which has vaccinated over 4,900 people since last Thursday.

The city government continues to expand its vaccination program with weekend venues in malls like SM Manila and San Lazaro, Lucky Chinatown, and Robinsons Place, offering services for minors aged 12-17 and booster shots for non-residents.

As of Friday, over 229,000 doses have been administered to minors while around 169,000 individuals have received their booster shots.
