LPA brings scattered rains over Palawan, Mindanao

A low-pressure area (LPA) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers over Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Zamboanga Peninsula.

The LPA was last spotted 100 kilometers north-northwest of Zamboanga City and has a slim chance of developing into a tropical cyclone.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterly winds, while northern Luzon may see rough coastal waters.
