Classes suspended due to Typhoon Leon until Nov 3

Local government units in several regions have extended the suspension of classes due to severe tropical storm Leon, with some areas suspending until November 3.

In Albay, Aurora, Batangas, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, parts of Laguna, Noveleta in Cavite, Antique, and Sorsogon City, all levels of face-to-face classes remain cancelled until at least October 31, with some areas extending the suspension.

Specific towns within these areas include Calaca, Lemery, Nasugbu in Batangas; Bay, Biñan, Cabuyao, Los Baños, Magdalena, Paete, Pagsanjan, San Pedro, Santa Cruz, and Santa Maria in Laguna; Infanta, Polillo, Real in Quezon; Anini-y, Libertad, and San Jose de Buenavista in Antique.

In Camarines Sur and Tuguegarao, Cagayan, all levels of classes are suspended until lifted by local authorities. Face-to-face classes at all levels in Batangas, Laguna, Benguet, Rosales, Pangasinan, and Dagupan City are also cancelled.

Classes from elementary to high school are suspended in Talisay, Batangas; Calamba, Laguna; Anini-y, Antique; and Santa Rosa (public schools only) until further notice.
