Classes suspended in multiple regions due to Super Typhoon Leon

Classes have been suspended in various areas due to the impact of Super Typhoon Leon on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

In Region I (Ilocos Region), classes are canceled in Ilocos Sur province from kindergarten to grade 12 and ALS, while Dagupan City and Rosales in Pangasinan have suspended all levels for both public and private schools along with work in government offices.

Region II (Cagayan Valley) has announced that Batanes will remain closed at all levels until further notice, and Tuguegarao City has halted work in government offices.

In Region III (Central Luzon), Aurora province continues to cancel classes for all levels, while Quezon province has extended suspensions from kindergarten to Grade 12 across multiple municipalities and cities including Lemery and Binan in Batangas and Laguna.

Region IV-A (Calabarzon) has suspended face-to-face classes at Calamba City for pre-elementary to senior high school, public and private schools, while Region V (Bicol Region) continues suspensions in Albay until November 3, and Camarines Norte and Sur have canceled all levels of education until further notice.
